John is born and raised in the Brainerd Area.  Moved to Pequot Lakes in 2011.  Been a motor sport enthusiast my hole life.  Started out drag racing in my teen years and ran a rear engine dragster from 2006 to 2016.  Got involved in tractor pulling in 2016 and built my  own mini rod that I have been pulling with since 2017.  Traveling all over Minnesota and Wisconsin with my mini rod pulling with Minnesota Mini rods, Gopher State Tractor Pullers and Sneaky Pete's Pullers. 

In 2020 when all tractor pulling events were canceled do to the pandemic I decided to make my own weight transfer sled to play with at home.  Decided to put the sled into use and start tractor pull in the area for anyone with the same desire as mine.  

I found tractor pulling to be a fun and awarding hobby that didn't brake the bank.  Hoping that others will find this to be as rewarding and fun as I did. 

Striving on putting together a sport that all can participate and enjoy.  Keeping classes down to a minimum to keep the price down so every one can participate.  The outcome is the same for the stock lawn mower class as it is for any other large farm tractor.  

I challenge everyone to hook up to the sled and drag it down the track.  It is a feeling that can't be explained and a rush that is quite unique! 

Like anything it is not for everyone but don't knock it until you try it!
